I don't see any image when connecting my laptop to my TV via HDMI

I love using my Apple TV—it’s fast and has great picture quality—but connecting through my phone is frustrating. The connection drops every 10 minutes, so I’ve decided to stop using it (I have more than two Bluetooth connections with the Zwift Play).

The issue now is that when I connect my laptop to the TV, it doesn’t display any image either. 'm using the same HDMI cable I use for the Apple TV. I’ve tested different cables on different TVs, except for the one I use for Zwift, and they all work. Now, I’m connecting through an SVGA cable, which results in a loss of image quality.

How can i fix it?

Do you have an HDMI port on the TV and the laptop? This is how I connect my laptop to my TV

Exactly, that’s the problem—I don’t see any image through my HDMI.

Sorry I misread your post. Have you selected the proper TV input source from your settings? Sometimes input 1 input 2 HDMI 3

You might have to also go into your laptop display settings and set to a multiple display

This is the likely issue. Go to the display properties on the laptop and find the setting to mirror display to the TV.

Hi @Daniel_Paniagua_ZESP welcome to Zwift forums. Shuji at Zwift HQ here.

How old is this laptop that it has an analog SVGA port?
You did not say if you’re getting decent frame rates on the laptop’s native display. If the frame rate isn’t great on the native screen, it’s possible that your Intel HD Graphics 520 GPU can’t push out enough pixels over HDMI to a big external screen. The length of the HDMI cable will also contribute to that problem How long is the cable?
