Looking at it I think yes, you should get Ultra @1440p
If you are on FB then joint this group some very good information: ZPCMR - Zwift PC Masters & Riders | Facebook
Thanks for this! There are i3 and i5 versions direct from HP website, or used and refurbished on eBay. With ājust good enough/not overkillā GPUs for zwift. So, for ~$500-700 looks like you can get the benefit of the āultrasā for zwift, and for about the smallest form factor you can manage given the dedicated nvidia graphics card. YES, itās more $ than appleTV but if you
If you search a bit more you can get lower like $300 for ultra.
Donāt get a SFF they donāt have space for a GPU (at least a cheep good one)
If you look at Small Form Factor cases the GPUs are just about jammed in there so if a new GPU comes along that is large (like some of those RX6800XT and RX6900XT Radeons) then it might not fit. Itās a real game of Tetris fitting everything in those cases and then keeping the cooling adequate. Itās worthwhile thinking of future expansion if it is needed.
This is someone building a machine using Fractal Ridge case: https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/zebv9y/yet_another_fractal_ridge_build/
Another one using Louqe Raw S1 case: https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/r7cs2h/louqe_raw_s1_build/
Thatās pretty impressive. The big GPU is jammed in vertically and the fan shrouds had to be removed from it. Itās something to consider if you end up going that way and know what to look for.
Another example is this: Mcprue Apollo S ITX2.0 ā Mcprue

Looks like something else that is sitting on my desk here. The real deal is a lot larger, these SFF machines are jammed full.
What would be great is a list of what GPUs are supported for what profiles - that would take the guesswork out of it. A card being powerful enough is no use if it doesnāt have a profile assigned to it, because it would then get a fallback lower detail option.
