On the events page, say you want to find an event for the night. You scroll down, check out an event, decided to find another and what happens when you click back? You’re back at the top of the page and lose your scroll position.
But what if you could open the events in a new tab instead? Add an ‘href’ to your ‘a tag’ and we can have that capability. See example scrapped from the events site. It will take the web developer longer to drink their coffee than to add this feature in.
