Group riding and trouble with AP

 Pardon my ignorance but;

  1. How do you join a group.

  2. Any special etiquette?

  3. Is there a good way to find how hard a group will be going?

  4. When I open the AP on my phone there are no icons allowing me to message the people I am riding with, any ideas why?

  5. Can you send a non-public message using the PC or do you have to use the AP?

Welcome to Zwift! Let’s see if we can help you out here:

  1. A group ride? You can do so in the ‘Events’ panel on your Zwift Mobile Link as well as on the ‘Ride’ menu (where the events are listed in the upper right).

  2. Follow the leader, keep to the wattage requested (or watts per kilo). Each group ride/race has their own set of rules, essentially, so make sure to read up on them.

  3. Usually in the description of the event/ride itself.

  4. You have to click on the person’s name - there is a way to message them privately there in the app.

  5. You must use the app. Using your keyboard on your computer is for global messaging currently.
