Get rid of nearby riders names at bottom of screen

Hi,

as per title. I find this really annoying especially on group rides with a bunch of only a few riders and it just clutters the screen / constantly changing and not sure what value it providers over the similar info you get on other riders on the right hand side.

Would be good to have option to turn it off , ideally in game like the chart of zones at bottom , or in the general options

Interesting when you have opponents behind you during a race.
The distance mainly.

ah fair enough. So the option to disablee in settings or off if not a race would seem the way forward

its jus super distracting in any decent size bunch ride where its constantly changing / not useful

cheers

These don’t appear on the iOS version of Zwift, but I wish they did. Especially with the new elevation profile in the minimap, it can be nearly impossible to ‘see’ riders approaching from behind, and if they come by at a decent speed, and before you’ve had time to accelerate, you’ll really struggle to latch on to them.

cant you use the list of riders on the right for that ?

Possibly, if I can remember to look over there. I’m usually looking at the rider area, so seeing the banners at the bottom of the screen is more in the general field of vision.

Takes more effort, particularly if the riders are a bit behind. It’s clearer how far in distance they are behind from the markers on the screen (and how fast they’re gaining).

That said, I’d like the option to have them appear over the power graph. I always ride with it on, and the rider markers are less useful as they’re obscured by the graph.

An “Above, behind, off” selection would be great.

Also the riders-nearby gaps are based on an assumed speed, not actual speed. Plus if you have gapped someone 10+ meters and they are still showing 0 seconds behind, you need to know that is the time to hit the power and shell them.

I can see how having the ability to turn it off would make sense for some people who don’t care about racing scenarios. :+1:
