Hello Team,
I would like to connect my Garmin Forerunner 735XT to Zwift, mainly to follow my HR. However, Zwift doesn’t detect my watch…
Do you please know how to synchronize Zwift and a Garmin Forerunner please?
Current setup:
- Hometrainer: Tacx Flux S Smart T2900S
- Device: iPhone 10 for the app Zwift (no PC, Mac or iPad)
Thanks!
Aurel
The Garmin 735xt will broadcast HR in ANT+ and Zwift on iOS is Bluetooth only.
Your best option is to get a dual band HRM like the Wahoo Tickr or Garmin Dual.
Thanks Paul!
I have a Garmin Dual.
However, it is not detected by Zwift neither :-(.
Do you please know how to make it work?
Thanks,
Aurelien
You need to make sure it is not connected to any other app or device (including your iPhone) before opening Zwift. Bluetooth only allows one connection at a time.
My 735xt connects to my phone and tablet via Bluetooth. It connects to the garmin connect app, but not zwift. Do I really need a strap?
That page doesn’t make it explicit, but as a previous poster has said, even though it connects with BT, it will only broadcast HR data via ANT+.
