It would be nice if we could see the drop shop on Companion. I would love to see that in a future update.
Absolutely. It’s more than annoying that you always have to start a ride before you can enter the shop or your garage.

I’d like to be able to inspect and change kit in the Companion app too.
If we could customize our avatar but not buying anything from the drop shop I would say but it would be bizarre to be able to see all the bike from the drop shop on Companion but not being able to buy them.
Having both the dropshop and garage available in the companion app would be great for pre/ post ride tinkering, esp if a new level was reached in the ride.
Completely agree. Companion app AND Zwift Website, upon login. I can’t tell you how many times in my limited time on Zwift (about 7 months now) that I’ve signed up for an event/race via Zwift website while at work (ahem, don’t tell my boss!), and wanted to customize my setup (mostly just wheels/frame, not so much kit because a lot of the time the event dictates the majority of your kit setup) ahead of time knowing that more than likely, I’ll be flying home, jumping into my gear, filling water bottles, firing up the laptop and trainer, etc. and won’t have time to doink around with changing my setup before I need to be on the trainer warming up. Being able to do that “remotely” away from my pain cave either via the companion app, or the Zwift website would be super ideal.
I have several things to do get setup for a Zwift ride. I’m not going to pause to change outfits. Having the Garage accessible from the profile on the Zwift web page or companion app makes much more sense. If it’s in the companion app you can still change while doing a ride.

Fully agree and support this feature request and would add that access to the drop shop (and rider appearance in general, i.e. gear choice) should also be given if you simply log into your account on the Zwift website.

Zwift could do so much with their website but they don’t bother.
very poorly implemented. takes ages and loads of mouse clicks to change bike and wheels. Let us delete kit we dont want any more, or at least favourite our regular kit. Let us create frame+wheels bikes to make it easier to pick both at once. Really not difficult and suggests no UX work has been carried out (like most of the system)

Can we please have the option to change bikes/wheels & kit within the Zwift Companion app so you don’t have to keep logging into Zwift to do it. Useful if you like to get set up for a ride/race before you actually log into Zwift itself.

It’s all good to have this functionality in companion app, but it may also depend on the connection from Companion App to Zwift working.
If that’s blocked, ie, some errant security restriction from an operating system update then it’s going to be a problem.
If there was an alternate backup method for the companion app to control Zwift that wasn’t impacted by this - that would be ideal.
The current bike/wheel selection, bike/wheel inventory, and drops, are all stored server-side, so the data is there, independent of whether the game is running or not. I think this means that in theory it could be modified when the game is not running, but the framework for modifying that data is in the game, so that would have to be developed for it to be usable somewhere else like in Companion or on the website.
