Game Update v1.87 [April 2025]

Not sure if this is on all routes or just the new Croissant route but after finishing the opening sprint on the lead in and then hitting the sprint again for the closer, I noticed my Scotty going NUTS on my holoreplay.

Already being fixed

It’s a reference to Paris-Roubaix, commonly described as “The Hell of the North”. I haven’t ridden the new routes yet but I assume it’s got some of the cobbles from that race?

Yeah two cobble sectors meant to emulate the Paris Roubaix cobbles

Is anyone’s Factory Tour Challenge not updating? I am pretty sure I was at 58/250 after yesterdays ride, and now after a 1h15min ride it is still the same.

Mine updated for today’s ride. Any chance you’ve logged in on multiple devices?

No, definitely not that I am aware. I will check again in a couple hours as I have another ride to do.

Happening to me in France as well.

But given the evidence above, using 30mm tyres then there is no purpose to making cobbles behave like mud or loose gravel.

I notice some strange behavior when sprinting. Scotty seems to explode into lines.

Seems to be working

I’m aware. My point is calling a 20km mostly flat point to point route that is a bit excessive and maybe should’ve been used for an actually-worthwhile route.

Yeah, for sure, it’s not really hellish in any sense. I do like your idea of calling it “Minor Inconvenience of the North”, it’s an homage to the Hell of the North without calling a 20km flat route “hell”.

For some people I’m sure 20km is hell… Zwift has certainly leaned into making everything really easy to achieve. The challenges are hardly a challenge anymore. Bike upgrades have been found far to easy to hack. Streaks are now near impossible to break. Thankfully the factory tour challenge is actually hard, or rather takes a long time.

Just go on a week+ non-cycling vacation :frowning: (Those do exist…)

I guess now you can bring your Wahoo or Garmin head unit and put it in your pocket for a walk while you’re on vacation, upload it as a bike ride and you can keep your streak?

Yeah, or I could login to a friend parked at the top of the Alpe and let my avatar coast down without even having a bike or head unit nearby…

I have two weeks of “streak savers” piled up… it would have to be a really long vacation!

Or just a ‘non-US-length’ vacation
