Game Update v1.85 [March 2025]

Just figured this out when I tried the app on my mac computer. Annoying

It worked well my last activity. But just that one on the appleTV

After the wipe/reinstall, seems all good now. Thank you!!

You should be able to connect more than two devices by pairing through the Companion app, instead of directly to Apple TV.

Hello! I tried to follow two different roads from Zwift Games (downtown eruption and the longest one). For both of them, it missed an intersection and then I was off the track, so it didn’t count at all…
For the longest track, it was right after the final section of Ā« the Ramp Ā» effort : it didn’t take the good direction. And in Ā« downtown eruption Ā», just before I should have started the KOM Volcano, it went to follow Volcano circuit instead… is this normal or is this a bug? Really annoying…
Thanks in advance!

Most likely your new steering device.

Well spotted: I have the steering device since a few weeks. Didn’t realise that this could accidentally provoke that! I will disable it when trying to follow a specific road! Thanks!!

A post was merged into an existing topic: The Zwift Big Spin [March 2025]

I’ve noticed that audio does not play for video screenshots recorded on the Windows version of Zwift (most current Windows 11 OS).

My wife uses Apple TV and audio plays fine for screenshots but none of the video screenshots taken on Zwift for Windows have audio (it worked last year before the OS update that broke video screenshots).

Is this a known issue for Windows 11?

Any chance there was something that might have created issues making the JetBlack Victory disconnect requiring resetting the trainer when using ā€œRace Modeā€ over WiFi?
Everything was working and then 3/4 after the update, I had the trainer disconnect about 2 hours in requiring resetting the trainer. I had this again on each of the 4 days since 3/4 I’ve used Zwift.
I have a ticket open with Jet Black but I just noticed the Zwift version changed that day.

Has this messed with my graphics card? It takes ages to login or go to a world, over half an hour. My display settings are now wonky - I use my TV as a second monitor and extend the displays but it doesn’t work, oddly enough duplicating the displays shows Zwift on my TV screen and the start menu on my monitor Screen size is incorrect as well. Just me, or?

Post the specs of your setup. This can’t be a widespread problem otherwise the forum would be rammed with people complaining about this.

Try rebooting your WiFi router, the trainer and the computer running Zwift. Pairing your trainer over Direct Connect is reliable until one day it isn’t. It’s almost always solved by rebooting your local network. Give that a try please.

Hi @BikePower
Question for you: Look in the game settings menu for the PC. Are the 3D World Volume and Game Sound Volume settings all the way to the left (i.e. disabled)?

If sounds are disabled in the game settings, it’s expected that the uploaded video screenshots will also have no sound.

Then check on the AppleTV. These sound settings take effect on a per-machine basis, not a per-account basis. This is to say settings are stored on each computer, not on our server.

Sounds are turned on as I can hear them while I am riding, but the video that is created is silent (on Strava and also if you play the video locally on the PC or on any other device).

We’ll see how it goes. I’ve rebooted PC, WAP, router, and gateway at different times over the last few days. I also tied the trainer to the nearest WAP on a 2.4GHz channel and gave it a static IP on the router. The PC is hardwired to the router. Worked perfectly since late January when I got the trainer until 3/4. Weird thing was the WAP software showed normal up-traffic from the trainer but limited down traffic to the trainer 264 bps down vs 2.73Kbps up.

A reinstall and restart seem to have helped

Very minor oddity today. I have segment holo replays set for my previous time (only), and the previous holo time showing on the right list was different to the last time showing on the 90 day list on the left (and isn’t even listed on the left as ever completed at that time in the last 90 days). Fuego Flats Reverse. Any ideas?

Holo replays aren’t generated in certain events. If your previous best was done in one of those events, it won’t get a holo replay, and therefore your times won’t match.

Understood, but my previous actual time is shown on the left at 21 minutes before in the same ride (39 mins total and couldn’t have been anything more recent), and surely my holo replay if it wasn’t that one would still be in my 90 day list?
