Doesnt do a good job with compensating for weight going downhill, or on flat ground. In the real world if your going down a steep grade, and you weigh 100kg… even if you dont peadal youre going to go much faster then someone who weighs 60kg doing the same… for example. Its all based on W/Kg, even on a flat surface. Works well for uphills though. very realistic. The disadvantages on inclines for heavy people should be somewhat compensated downhill.
must have an accurate body weight in your profile.
No, no it’s not. I’d love for zwift to remove all reference to w/kg just to destroy this misconception.
It is accurate.
Sorry, but you are mistaken. When it comes to flat terrain, it’s all about raw watts, not watts per kilogram. Additionally, the downside for heavier riders in both Zwift and real-life climbs is their weight.
thats for sure! lol
Can you please pin a solution to the Mac OS 15.2 (sequoia) and iOS18.2.1 companion app connectivity issue. The recent update to OS15.2 broke everything. Thankyou
True fact… the highest average speed wins the race.
I simply reinstalled Zwift on my MacMini M2.
Much less frustrating than trying to get the CA to connect.
99% of all putts left short of the hole don’t go in the hole.
I confirm, I got the same setup and after the update, it broke my ZC connection. It was just working yesterday.
On PC the video capture still do not work. It does save a video file but it is 0kb. As far as I know this has been coming from November 2024. Any ETA on this fix?
I’ve had this issue and found that it was because my computer (running Zwift) and iPhone (running Companion) were on different WiFi networks. Just posting this in case it applies to anyone else. Once the devices are on the same WiFi network, Companion syncs with Zwift as expected.
What happened to the Events category? For the last few weeks it only shows a few upcoming events. I find it difficult to plan rides without access to events occurring 24 hours out.
That doesn’t sound right. Try resetting your filters.
Still no fix for adding a calibration wrench for those of using Apple TV? Much needed for my power meter crank arm.
Does your power meter not have its own app to calibrate it? You should always calibrate via the manufacturer’s app rather than in Zwift.
Congrats on reaching lvl 100!! Let me know if the fresh install helped!
I tried that already. I’ll try reinstalling the ap
