Phased rollout to iOS / tvOS devices begins tomorrow.
Emojis are now supported in game chat and in Zwifter names (up to two emojis will be displayed in a Zwifter’s surname). This will require a re-launch of the game app after you receive v1.98.
After completing a timed segment, your leaderboard ranking will appear in the center HUD.
Fixed an issue where Zwift Companion and Zwift Game could potentially show different streak week numbers.
Fixed an issue that could cause workout arch lighting to appear on the roadway without a corresponding workout arch.
Fixed an issue where TT bikes could potentially automatically steer toward draft in free rides (where drafting provides no benefit); TT bikes now only seek draft in TTT events.

Do you have questions or issues to report? Let us know below.
Shuji, I’m posting this for a team rider. His Stages SB20’s power readings changed wildly in Zwift over the past two weeks, confirmed by his Stages app (yeah, there still is one) and Training Peaks Virtual.
I’m on Wahoo, so I really don’t know much about Stages since Giant took them over.
Basic troubleshooting points to Zwift’s, probably 1.97.0/1/2. He has opened a ticket with only an receipt acknowleglement in support.zwift with no email contact
Is this a known issue and is Zwift working with it? Better still, is a fix in 1.98? He’s frustrated enough that he’s considering dropping Zwift entirely.
Please ask your teammate to contact my Support Team colleagues. We need Zwifters contact us directly so we can troubleshoot, look at their logs, etc for clues.
My wife still uses an SB20 and the only issues have been when batteries have issues, or when pairing to the bike instead of the left crank arm. I’m guessing your teammate is this one (?) already on the StagesBike SB20 Owners Group which is the best place for SB20 specific support since the company mostly died. I would want to check that pairing is via the left crank arm, and stick logs in zwiftalizer.com to ensure that connectivity to the game is still OK.
Yup. But Apple TV is his Zwift platform. I loved my ATV for its simplicity but, as a streaming platform, I didn’t have access to the file system → no way to copy logs for Zwiftalyzer.
Since I inherited my M1 IMac I’m very happy with the graphics and file system control but I’m not going to advise people to spend money on more equipment, Windows or macOS.
What’s missing for all of us is a comprehensive exploration of Bluetooth and its interactions. Just an exploration, not a “my way is the best way,” exposition. I’ve solved a lot of mine with Ethernet and WiFi, but not all of us have those options.
Likewise happy to see my report resolved on the week streaks intermittent disparity between Companion and ZwiftApp.
Plus the emoji thing! It will be nice to see this fixed in Ride Leader namespaces. We still have a lot of “YoYo” Ride Leaders (the emoji still showing in the yellow text as YoY, etc… )
Just FYI the phased release is not based on geography. It’s done by randomly selecting a percentage of each device type they are targeting. For example if you have two devices that can run the game, you get two independent chances of being selected at any given time.
What Paul says is correct HOWEVAH - we encourage you to have the main Zwift app installed on only one device because logging in simultaneously on two or more devices creates problems. We thank you in advance for being patient during our phased rollouts.
Keep up the good work. Recent game and companion App updates appear to have solved the Map freeze problem, but the problem could have been anywhere as my PC got a whole host of updates recently. Did a whole week, over 200km without any problems.
