I noticed the same thing. It also disappears in places on Jarvis while your still in the yellow climb zone.
ZwiftApp 1.78. I was in a meet up this morning and I joined before the time started, power being applied and everything recognized, stuck in the pen.
I had to quit and rejoin and join the pack with the pedal assist.
Your software and test team are still s—.
You can check the video here, please continue to work on all the bugs.
@shooj
Greetings. I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this but I had the experience of being dropped by a bot at an intersection/turn. Today I was with Bernie for a cool down on Douce France and there was an intersection that was marked and one option was to select bot, the other was to select a QOM. Normally, if you join the ride with a bot you automatically follow the bot. But today half of us split off from it. I checked with others and they said they had also been dropped on this road by the bot.
Edit: I know we could probably teleport back to the bot but I didn’t try as I was done anyway.
On the new elevation profile under the mini map, can the circle and arrow icon for the user be removed? Two reasons: first it covers sprint/kom points. Second it is unneeded since the progression of the green shows where you are.
Removing it will reduce the clutter and information overload.
Possibly this problem, and the bot disappeared just before the intersection?
The bot didn’t disappear, we split off from it and went down the wrong road off the route. The other half of the group stayed with it. We could see it leaving us. So unfortunately I think this is a slightly different problem.
Totally agree,
Good idea.
Also depending on the profile and route length; it really can start to obstruct the minimap rather significantly.
So +1 on my vote. It is indeed unnecessary now.
I would even love to move the route view to another section of my screen and be able to resize it to my likings.
I don’t now if already mentioned but since the last update Zwift on AppleTV keeps crashing. In the end I get it working, but never on the first try.
It will crash just after logging in, or just after the pairing screen when all connections are made and you want to proceed.
Also after ending and saving a ride, I want to do a cooldown, as soon as I want to leave the pairing screen after pairing it will crash
I have…
HAn error ocurred today!!!
Zwift showed at the of my training that I did 50,43 km. So recorded Strava: 50,43 km, BUT the Zwift Companion only showed 31,2 km….!!! Furthermore, I completed the Power to the Tower 100%, BUT Zwift still only recorded 31,2 km after showing 50,43 km….!!
PLEASE intervene in my traning book and correct the error of 31,2 km to the correct 50,43 km + record that I actually completed the Power to the Tower.
Furthermore: The Gito the Italia ALSO registered the correct distance…only The Zwift Companion recorded it WRONG. Please correct! I can send you the Picture from Strava if needed.
Looks like companion is converting km to miles but displaying it as km
Do you always force-close the Zwift app after each session?
Yes, I always force close.
(If the crash doesn’t do that already)
I haven’t seen anyone else reporting an ATV crash in the latest release. It would be worth contacting Zwift support as they can access some server-side logs which might tell them what’s going on.
Which model of ATV do you have?
Uhm I believe the 3rd one.
I’m not even considering to contact Zwift support. They made it very clear to not contact them with al the hurdles you have to take.
I’m still trying to get pass the bot for complaints about my Zwift plays
Just email support@zwift.com if you want to reach them. The bot will just raise your blood pressure.
You could also choose the nuclear option and do a factory reset of the ATV. It’s not very painful to get it back to a usable state.
The nuclear option still sounds more user friendly then contacting Zwift support.
Will try that
That’s a good call by Paul. Factory reset on ATV is very simple.
