Great comment about steering. What’s the point in having it (Play) if Zwift keep moving my avatar to places I don’t want to be?
For example, when free riding I like to hug the white line on the road edge just like IRL. I steer over to the line but it doesn’t take 10 seconds for Zwift to start moving me back to somewhere else in the lane. I steer back to the line again and Zwift simply won’t let me stay there, etc. etc. This happens on any road – paved, unpaved, straight, curved. Frustrating nuisance.
This is for running - As I noted in the 1.77 update thread, the overlap with the stopwatch and pace is not a good look.
And the “%” symbol for distance that was corrected for riding still has not been corrected for running.
Thanks for having this here Shuji. I am excited to have my most used items readily accessible.
I have noticed that Apple TV defaults to the Standard Orange Zwift kit after every ride I do. Admittedly I’ve only been riding TDW for the double XP as I’m still trying to reach 100 (20 to go).
Thanks for Making Zwift Great (Again)! LOL and Ride On
‘A late addition to the release notes, Zwift has refreshed the emotes experience in game, giving them a new look and having them show above riders’ avatars when triggered’
Is this visible for all riders or just the one sending them ?
And if it is visible to all is there an option to turn it off ?
Screen is cluthered enough already, dont need to see smilies above riders heads to be honest.
I dont mind new things, but perhaps we are not all fans of these things, so please consider and option to turn it off for those who dont want/need these ‘updates’.
Its getting more and more Mario Kart like this.
I just came to this thread to see if anyone had this problem and I’m not the only one. I have the iPhone with 1.77 and the gear representation works perfectly but on the macOS with 1.78 it doesn’t work. It was because of the update. This has happened on other occasions and they will fix it in future updates I hope.
Ok, lets get real for a minute, can we? The game can’t suck THAT BAD if you’ve been an active subscriber who has been paying monthly and zwifting for “almost two years”.
If my experience was truly THAT BAD, with Zwift or any other subscription service, I’d have un-subbed a LONG TIME AGO… just saying…

Hi @Kevin_vh welcome to Zwift forums.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I looked at your server logs for clues.
Looks like you figured it out, because I no longer see an ANT+ dongle plugged in to your PC. You lost virtual shifting because your KICKR CORE was paired over ANT+, and Virtual Shifting will not work unless your trainer and shift controller are all paired over Bluetooth.
I trust everything’s good for you now? Please leave the ANT dongle removed and things will run much more smoothly for you.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Looking at your server logs, I see something called a SmartSpin paired to Zwift. I don’t know what that is exactly, but it’s not a supported smart device, and definitely not supported for virtual shifting using Zwift Protocol.
Please contact SmartSpin for assistance if they’re claiming compatibility with Zwift. Yours is not a Zwift issue.
Not to go too far off topic, but is the JetBlack Smart Turn Block supported by Zwift? and/or is there some central resource to check for compatibility of anything for Zwift?
