Game update v 1.77 [October 2024]

Which trainer do you have? Do the watts stay at zero when you pedal?

Have you tried force quitting the app on all devices? Since you’ve connected to more than one, it’s possible that some devices are not connected to the device you’re using.

Hi Nigel The Taxc flux. And yes the only thing that is measuring is my HR

Hi Steve The Taxc Flux. Only my HR reflects all else stays at 0. When i go to pairing as if i had lost signal. All cadence power speed are reflecting conected with signal

Nigel hi. I even uninstalled on both Apple and android and tried each seperately with the other off. Still no luck

do you have the tacx app, can you open that and see if the trainer is reporting watts to the tacx app? If not, might be an issue with the trainer?

So in the Pairing screen you can see watts when you pedal? If so then this doesn’t sound like a trainer problem.

blame Todd Howard for that quirk of the industry. in fact, blame him for most things, wherever possible. at least zwift attempt to fix the bugs

Bonjour,
Suite Ć  la derniĆØre mise Ć  jour, j’ai tout qui plante au 12e kilomĆØtres ou au bout d’une heure !!! Je ne peut plus rien faire !!tout se bloque !
Avez-vous une solution ?
Cordialement

Can you give us some details about what you are running the game on? If it’s a PC please tell us about the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage. Or post screenshots from the system and display tabs from Windows DXDIAG.

I tested it on the Taxc trainer app. Connects but nothing else.
Seems my Taxc has chosen early retirent with immediate effect  sigh. Thx guys. I ran on my Horizon and all worked as needed. Now to beg the bank manager for a new trainer lol

Hi @Toby_Broom, could you please share more about the issue you are observing? Thanks!

I’m having bluetooth ant+ connection problems aswell. Suddenly mid ride i lose connection. Not pairing again until i restart zwift. First time in 5 years using zwift that i’m experiencing this. I’m using the schwinn ic8 spinning bike.
My garmin watch can still connect to the bike.

Support has probably already heard that Companion is not connecting to the Zwift app running on a Mac system with 15.1?

iPad 9 with latest 18.1 and all I get is the standard screen as if Zwift app isn’t running. I gather some kind of connection thing? I can’t remember when I tried it last, couple days ago maybe, and it worked fine.

Thanks, and good luck…

SORRY, Fixed the OS version numbers. Companion doesn’t want to connect, I’ll try it in a few minutes again and see if it works. I didn’t see many with the little icon by their name, so assume that lots of others are experiencing the same things, but couldn’t find a ā€˜companion not working’ recent thread.

I’m having the same issue with an iPad. Updated and pacer or group rides, my avatar doesn’t move unless I’m doing 400 watt ++ !! Even then it just crawls.

Today I tried a workout and everything is fine but joining the Herd Tuesday Social ride - nothing.

Cadence, Power, HR, all there but no movement.

Same issues for me! Others in my pacer group yesterday and this evening also having the same issues (we chatted about it in Companion App chat while riding). I tried different pacer groups and same issues. Pace partner beacon disappears completely at times, multiplier keeps disappearing even if I’m close to pace partner, multiplier went from 1.4x back to 1x as well.

Have you noticed that on previously cycled segments or sprints, your shadow partner (which is your PR on that segment/sprint) appears on the main screen but it no longer appears on the list of riders on the right where as previously they would be there and you could see e.g. they are 2 seconds ahead or 2 seconds behind - this was working before latest update.

I was a doing a group workout last week Friday and at some point I got separated from the group- the workout continued but I was ported to a different route. What could be the reason for this?

Hi @Neil_Erickson_Hawaii - I looked at our logs and it appears that you have Zwift Play controllers paired. Just to rule this out, could you please try turning them off and see if the issue persists?

My first thought was that if you’re having to output exceptionally high watts to move slowly, that could potentially happen if your virtual brakes were engaged. I’ve seen a few instances where an physical obstruction was unknowingly pressing the brake button on a Play controller (e.g. a towel, HRM, nearby wall, etc.), and once removing the obstruction, the issue was resolved. (In this case, you would also notice the brake lights on your bike were lit.)

If that’s the case then moving the braking sensitivity slider in Zwift settings all the way to the left would also fix it
