Seems like there are much better things that Zwift could do to provide value to their customers than suggesting a workout. I’m just saying I can’t view all routes on the Windows app but they can go crawling around in my data to suggest workouts. While I am not put off by the suggested workout concept like some here (maybe I should be) but it just really seems like a very low priority over fixing something like the ability to view all routes from the in game app itself. Yes I can add the route from the companion app to my list but why should one have to jump through all these hoops. another frustrating experience is the workout in app on Windows. Nearly impossible to use from the Zwift controllers and the UI is just cumbersome at best with the mouse and keyboard.
I unfortunately know all too well how this works and those making the decisions are out of touch with the customers.
New pacer routes are awesome
Switch up was long overdue
Triple twist with Constance - Love it
Since the Core temperature was available to connect and track within Zwift I’ve used it. The pairing and bridging hrm through it was easy. But with this update the 1.106 it doesn’t work any more. The core connects but doesn’t bridge the hr. Both devices by themselves connects to Zwift flawlessly. It is the bridge part that part that doesn’t work.
Also looked so it’s not connected to something else and it isn’t. Everything has worked flawless until I got the 1.106 update on Thursday morning (cet) the 29th.
I have the same issue. Though I first started having the issue on Wednesday 1/28, and I didn’t get the 1.106 update until Thursday 1/29.
Same issue here as of today (Fri 30th)
Maybe they’ll learn eventually once they find more of us using other platforms or leaving altogether as the Zwift interface gets increasingly annoying with all of the stuff you can’t disable - or they won’t.
TrainingPeaks Virtual nails it when it comes to the user experience and customization. Zwift… welp. ![]()
There’s fix coming for the CORE body temperature sensor in the next game release.
The AI for “Next Up” is absolutely stupid.
Yesterday it recommended a specific effort because I was coming back after a long layoff. Three days off the bike isn’t a “long layoff”. After doing one ride yesterday, today it says “your recent consistency allows for a tempo-based workout”.
Please let me turn this gizmo off. I don’t need it in my face every time I start up ZC.
@shooj I just spent couple hours riding with Genie on Spinfinity.
Every time we went up any escalator, Genie would almost completely grind to a halt.
So much so, within a few seconds of cresting the escalator, you’d be 15/20 seconds ahead of the PP.
Happened every single time
sounds like they didn’t get the added power boost when that was added a few months ago
Right on. And only what rides you have done or are doing in Zwift, without regard to what we’re doing outdoors or in the gym.
Thanks for the report. We think we’ve got a handle on why it’s happening. Short term, we might whisk the RoboPacers off the NYC routes until we sort the escalators.
Just remove them.
Hi team, please do something about the Apple Watch signal. I’m tired of having to re-pair the devices several times during every workout — it’s especially frustrating when I’m already in the middle of training. Please fix this.
Apple Watch is not currently supported. They mentioned this way back in 2021, and were even going to take the app out of the store.
See this post:
They have since said they were close to getting it to work, (Apple Watch support made it onto a “this season on Zwift” communication but never materialized), it’s currently known that Apple Watch is very flaky which is why it is technically not supported.
You could try using the Heartcast app on the watch but your best fix is to get a normal HRM
Emojis back in action for me today ![]()
Will Zwift ever do any work to make it possible to transport between pacers bots without starting over on the multiplier? Is that a complicated thing or more a philosophical choice?
@Wes_Weinhart_69 new Pacers you have to start over.
It didn’t bug me much the first time I saw it, but after a week or so of having to scroll past it, the Next Up feature is annoying. I’m not interested in what your AI thinks I should do next. It’s suggestions have been dead wrong btw. No, I don’t need to abuse my knees with a Stomp and Coast workout. ![]()
And it takes up valuable screen space, especially on my phone. When I open the Companion App, I’m usually either going into game mode or looking for an event or a route. Please put those buttons at the top.
