Different trainer

At the very least you should unselect Speed and Cadence Sensors so they are orange or gray rather than blue, then close out of Zwift and restart whatever device you’re using, then try again. Ideally, you will have the Speed Sensor as gray with a “search” button underneath. If it’s orange and you try to pair you should see the tire size selector. It sounds like this is what’s happening for you but after tire size you don’t get the chance to choose your sensor and trainer. Is that right? If so, I think Paul is right, and deleting the app from whatever device you are using and re-installing would be the next step.

When i start up Zwift the icons are orange and go to blue once the sensors are picked up.
Ive tried uninstalling the app and then downloaded and reinstalled it, but when i log in im back to my original settings, so that didn’t work either.
The only other option I have is to set up a new account, which, of course, means i lose all my data, which sucks.
Honestly, i didn’t think up grading my trainer would be such a problem :confused:

I suggest contacting support. You’re talking to the amateurs here, who often have useful info but Zwift are responsible for answering your question.

Ok, so i spent roughly 11//2 hours last night with support and they couldn’t resolve the issue. While i was on line with them i was looking through some support pages and i came across a calibration setup fot the Elite Qubo Fluid trainer so i thought i would try that this morning.
I logged in, selected Speed and once the sensor was picked up the " select your trainer " window appeared :flushed: . I selected the " Elite Fluid Gray" and i was off. I had the best workout to date. Definitely an improvement over my old trainer. It felt more natural and i didn’t go through all my gears.
Now i can pedal efficiently :slightly_smiling_face:

Using that trainer was suggested above by one of us amateurs :wink:

And i tried every suggestion, and nothing worked until this AM. I think someone on support pushed the right button because ive never made a trainer selection in the manner that transpired this morning. The trainer was selected when i registered and that was the 1 and only time

Glad you got it sorted (and sorry it took so long). As you say, support might have managed to clear the previous selection so you could start again, or, maybe just waiting a day was what it took - I’ve found with Zwift that sometimes things that don’t work one day, do the next.
