Just for the record … Zwift began in 2010, as a Windows application built by Jon Mayfield.
How did you connect the K1200 with the 4k Monitor?
4k is only available via DisplayPort.
If your desktop is 4k but Zwift doesn’t allow that, maybe they think the K1200 is not powerful enough. After all it’s just a rebrandet GTX750.
I had a Quadro K1200 myself, and I “upgraded” to a GTX750Ti.
Still on the i5-3470 though, the CPU is powerful enough.
Yes, it is a DisplayPort connection.
Yes, I suspect the issue is that Zwift doesn’t think the K1200 is powerful enough.
I didn’t know this, so thank you for the information.
More, good information. I guess I could do the same.
I wonder how much my Zwift experience would improve?
Thank you for your helpful response.
If you want improve you Zwift experience, you should upgrade to a GPU which has Ultra enabled (not speaking about resolution, it is about level of detail, shadows, etc.).
I have a GTX 1650; 1650 Super would be better but I believe it needs external power connector.
I didn’t notice the difference between the K1200 and GTX750Ti.
If you want to upgrade for 4k with Ultra, I’d recommend sth. like GTX970, 1060 or 1660.
But at this time upgrading GPU is really expensive.
The high demand on Nvidia GPUs lead to a shortage and high prices.
