Connection issues with IPAD

The ZWIFT app does not want to connect with the Kickr on my IPAD. It does connect fine with the Iphone (same apple account). The wahoo kickr is connected per bluetooth on the IPAD.
So far I have tried to:

  • re-install ZWIFT on the IPAD, no luck
  • turned off the iphone
  • deleted the ZWIFT app from Iphone

What else to do?

Hi @Jolien_Visser

Welcome to the forum.

You need to unpair and forget the trainer in the ipad setting. Only pair in the Zwift app.

Also unpair and forget on the phone.

Bluetooth can only pair to one app at a time.

I’m having the same issue.

New iPad, same Apple ID, I have made sure it’s not connected to my phone. New Zwift install but it can’t connect/find my wahoo kickr. It’s finding the cadence tickr but can’t find the power source.

Any other suggestions? I’ve tried restarting and reinstalling Zwift. And made sure Bluetooth was on and devices awake.

Is it possible that your Kickr is connected to some other device? Or to the Wahoo, or some other app? Or possibly connected directly to the iPad BT, instead of directly through Zwift?
