I think there are posts from several years ago on this request, but does anyone agree it would help in the Companion App to have an Event ‘Time of Day’ search filter ? I usually only cycle at certain times of the day so I have to scroll through too many events to find anything of interest…
I’m somewhat shocked it isn’t already implemented.
Everyone has a time window (or multiple) they can ride, and my guess is for the average person that timeframe does not start close to midnight for them, so most who uses the companion app to look ahead probably have to scroll forever to get to whatever time window works best for them if they use the companion app to look ahead to another day.
I don’t tend to use Zwifthacks, or ZwiftPower to find my next day’s activity, so my typical pattern is to go to the companion app to check out what’s happening the next day. And every time I do that I’m scrolling what seems like hundreds of items before I get to a time that would make any sense for me to ride.
Seems like it would be a pretty trivial change from a UX and logic perspective to add a time filter.
I don’t use Zwift hacks myself but I remember it was text based so although the searching is better and has more search functionality the UI/UX is not as good as companion app I think - in Zwift CA I like the large thumbnail graphic of the event and that helps me find and choose a ride of interest, whether that be a specific mission/challenge related one, company/product/rider type one or whatever…
In my time zone, with the list filtered to only show group rides and races, there are 90 events between midnight and 5am. It’d be really convenient for me to be able to filter those out based on the time of day rather than having to scroll through them every time.
