A lot of clubs use the results so that people can see the position of the ride leader. It is easy to say the leader is at 74 so people know how much to slow down.
@Douglas_Cook Please use other brackets on the froum than square brackets.

I guess neither of us know this for certain, though we were able to pull a list of all club created events from ZP all of which appeared to be races. Though accept this is only a sample of those that chose to upload events to ZP
This list is all rides that use “show race results”. Very few are races.
Worth noting those will all be public events, but a lot of group rides do use show results.
These aren’t club events though, they are public calendar. From ZP we were able to pull events created in clubs with race results on.
I assume clubs and public events use the same rules.
If it is not on the public calendar then it does not exist.
Not necessarily as Zwift (I understand) do push races with lower levels of participation towards clubs setup instead, so a higher proportion of club events with results are likely to be races in all but name
Not presently.
That was just a bit tongue in cheek teasing.
I’ve paused organising race events (outside of ladder) as I organised a few in quick succession where pens and power-ups didn’t work as requested (and as setup)
Zwift has been investigating now for several months on those and keeps pinging me with a “we are still investigating” (which I seriously doubt)
Did you ask me to look at them?
