What if they coded the coffee stop so that it stayed 2m in front of the person it’s linked to and gave them a draft. Would that stop the complaints?

It could come with an automatic Ghost powerup. So you get coffee stopped but you’re invisible.

Best thing is to let individual users turn on or off coffee stop visibility for themselves.

If you don’t want to be cheater, don’t enter a group ride, start racing others then use the coffee break but still claim it isn’t cheating because “it’s a group ride”. If you’re racing, that’s what it is.
Those who aren’t racing should have nothing to complain about.
Well, that’s how you want people to behave in group rides. Others have their own opinions about what’s acceptable. And the neat thing is that it’s not up to you to make that decision about what’s acceptable. You get to make the decision about what is acceptable to you, not what is ‘acceptable full stop’.

Those that are racing a group ride should also have nothing to complain about when other people are not breaking the rules.

I was so frustrated when coffee stop was remove…
Its unbelievable that some people dont like it because of other people statistics competitive race of course no coffee stops… But for group ride we should have it why some of this people complaining about others using coffee stops on climbs its non your business unless you really want to prove something on a non competitive group ride something wrong…if people abuse this in a non competitive group ride let them do it…
