I’m unable to login to Zwift using Firefox Browser(140.10.0esr (32-bit)), since the catpcha does not appear on the login page:
I had no issues logging in with Firefox 150 on macOS. Have you tried with the browser started in safe mode? Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox | Firefox Help
Are you getting the Captcha to display? I just re-tried and weirdly enough, even without the CAPTCHA appearing it login fine, seems random, either way I never get the CAPTCHA to display, I just enter username and password and click SIGN IN, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, giving that error message.
I got no captcha challenge at all. I tried once with a private browser window, all fine. Then I started a VPN to Canada, did another private browser window, still no captcha.
Hi @AlexM370
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Thanks for reporting that the captcha is not challenging your login flow. I’ve passed it along to our web team.
Following up: do you use an adblocker on Firefox but not on other browsers? Ad blockers and other privacy-oriented extension can prevent the reCaptcha script from loading correctly.
Also : I just noticed the redirect in the URI in your photo. Does the captcha behave if you go to zwift.com/sign-in?
The redirect is from the Zwiftpower ZRS extension that requires a logged in session with Zwift to work. But it does happen if I go straight to www.zwift.com as well. As for AD blocker I believe I have Ghostery AD Blocker but i have to check whether zwift website is whitelisted. Having said that, I do visit other sites that have Captcha enabled and I do get the challenges, and they have not been whitelisted for sure.
**UPDATE on MAY-15-26:** I checked Ghostery AD Blocker extension and it is disabled.
What happens when you run Firefox in safe mode with all extensions disabled?
OK then I assume it’s nothing related to extensions, perhaps more about a niche browser that they don’t test with (the 32-bit version of Firefox 140 ESR)
I don’t think it is a niche browser version, since it happens on your Firefox version (150) as well and I just tested on Firefox IOS version, and no Captcha challenge as well.
I suspect that on my browser, and any mainstream browser that doesn’t have any extensions that break the captcha code, it is silently passing the captcha check without being challenged. There is no error, it just logs in. It is not normal for a captcha to show up at all when logging into zwift.com. In any case I don’t think I have any more suggestions for how to work around it other than run a different browser.
