This issue has happened for a while but more often with the latest update. I run Zwift on my iPad Pro (M4) along with the companion App on an iPhone. Today I found (again) that the Teleport option on the companion app wouldn’t work. Pressing it gets no response. Rebooting the app, results in all in-game options along the bottom being greyed out in the companion app. Prior to this, pressing the message button on companion kept resetting Zwift companion to the appearance you get when not Zwifting. Had to keep relaunching to get the in game screen.
Quite clunky at the moment.

You’re not alone in seeing the companion app lock up after pressing Teleport. We’ve spotted the same freeze happening for others when they tap that button. A quick force-close and relaunch does clear it up, but we know it’s a bit of a stopgap workaround in some cases. Swiping up to close won’t do it; you really need a force-quit to wake things back up.
It turns out this is the same underlying bug our team has been investigating, where the app’s action handler for teleport gets stuck in an unresponsive state. Appreciate the feedback. Here is another thread for reference.

Thank you for coming back to me. Sadly the force restart never works for me. I find that when I do this, all the menu buttons at the bottom which include teleport are greyed out you cannot make anything out. Hoping for a fix soon
