For users with steering controls, it would be nice to have the option to turn auto steering on/off. Sometimes the current behavior (auto steering is deactivated for a few seconds after steering manually, then is reenabled) is fine. Sometimes it’s undesirable, like when I’m slogging up a climb and my avatar veers across the road to get into the “draft” of a stopped rider, or I just want to stay on a particular line without having to manually steer every few seconds to keep auto steering from engaging.
I would like this too.
I see it all the time on Alpe du Zwift, my avatar swerves away from my desired line like it is drunk!
The rider in front is more than 1 minute away and the one behind is over 30 seconds away. I don’t see any logical reason for the automatic steering to be moving me off my intended line. Having to hold down the steering button on the kickr bike all the time to keep the desired line is annoying.
I would like to see the explanation from the user-experience people at Zwift on why this is a good user experience.

Happens in climb portals too, very erratic behavior and makes no sense

I don’t think there are any of those people at Zwift anymore. This is fairly self-evident by some of the new “features” that while useful have a less than optimal implementation.

I would like an option to have steering OFF/25%/50%/100% input
Right now for some reason it has been overly sensitive for a couple patches for me.
