Audio messages on Zwift Workouts

Hello,

How are you?

I am a visually impaired Zwift user, and I am trying to make Zwift workouts more amenable by adding audio messages. I have been on a couple of group workouts where there has been an instruction voice at the start, so I know it is possible.
I am looking at the ‘gameplayevent’ in the ZWO schema. Can the GPE_AUDIO attribute be used to trigger this audio messages? Do you have an example of using audio message in a ZWO file that you might point me towards?

If successful, I hope to post up some visually impaired accessible versions of some of the common workouts such as FTP tests.

Any help much appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Stay safe and happy Zwifting,

Guy

Hi; I’m a new Zwifter getting into running in my late sixties and following the Zwift 201 Your first 5k program. (Which I’m loving!). I prefer to run without my glasses and find it distracting to focus down on the text instructions on my iPad, to the point where I have stumbled a couple of times. Before I lose my teeth on the bar, I’d love an option for audio guidance. All the IRL C25K programs work on audio, and I was very surprised to find no option for this in settings. I’ll put this as a separate feature request, as it is somewhat different in scope from a full ‘visually impaired’ interface I guess, but it’s certainly in the same area as what you are doing. Thanks!
