Apple TV trainer difficulty slider disappeared

Any ideas here. It’s worked fine for a couple of years and it’s just gone. Nothing there. Game Sound Volume, 3D world volume, powers estimation mode, Power Display etc all there. But not the slider for Trainer Difficulty. Did it move?

check if you paired the trainer as controllable.

I have the same issue - how do you verify?

Open the pairing screen and see if controllable is selected.

I’m having the same issue on android. Controllable trainer is definitely selected

Answer was on logging in make sure the right hand button (power controlled trainer or something) is clicked, as well as the top one - they both need to be connected (as well as your Heart Rate or Cadence sensor) connected.

I witnessed this same issue this morning myself on Apple TV even though my Wahoo Kickr is paired and connected as the power source and resistance. Went into the Settings Menu and the trainer difficulty slider was gone. It was there a couple of weeks ago.

Searching and selecting my trainer again on the pairing screen fixes this issue for me.

Hi @Richard_Le_MH4, Thanks for reaching out to us in this Zwift forum.

It’s great to know you’ve managed and sorted out the trainer difficulty feature issues by performing self-troubleshooting. It’s worth mentioning that the slider is only visible once you’ve paired a smart trainer as a “controllable trainer” on the pairing screen. For more details please review this article.
