ANT+ Dongle and Mac won't pair with Garmin Sensors

I have three Garmin sensors (HRM, Speed, Cadence). All connect and work fine with my Vivoactive but will not connect to Zwift via ANT+. Zwift sees the ANT+ USB adapter but can’t find any device. I have turned off the Vivoactive and isolated each sensor to separate areas of my house but it still won’t find a single one. Any help?

Hi,

I had a similar problem and found that I had to turn off the Garmin connect app on the MAC. Right click on the triangular connect icon in the top bar of your mac and click close and don’t allow to run in the background.

Now works every time with the same sensors you have.

Hi Brad,

Peter has posted the most likely solution! Have a go at that and let us know how you get on.

Thanks,

Chris

Edit: That worked. I needed to do a clean reboot in addition to disabling Garmin Connect. Thanks!

Great stuff Brad, thanks for letting us know.

I have  Garmin sensors (HRM, Speed & Cadence GSC 10). All connect and work fine with my Forerunner 310xt , but will not connect to Zwift via ANT+. Zwift sees the ANT+ USB adapter but can’t find any device. I’ve uninstalled the Garmin connect, but it didn’t work.

Any Help?

Hi Cleber,

I highly recommend you submit a support ticket and include your log files (found in Documents\Zwift\Logs) and we can help better there.

One quick question: how far away is the ANT+ dongle from your sensors?
