Android15: Could not add the event to user calendar

Hi.

I’ll start by pointing out that I’ve been searching the resources of this forum, snooping around on google - ultimately I haven’t found anything to help me ‘fix’ the problem.
The problem is the inability to add events/events to the calendar.
When I select an event, click on ‘time’, move the handle in the add to calendar part - the following message appears in a balloon:
‘Could not add the event to user calendar’.

‘Companion’ has all permissions, inclusion with access to the calendar.
Smartphone: OnePlus 13, Android15, ‘Companion’ is in the latest version v3.67.0.
I do not have a third-party ‘Calendar’ app on the smartphone - only the system one (from Google).

Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas on how to make ‘Companion’ add events to the calendar?

greetings
Artur

Incredibly, I found a solution.

In order for it to work to add events to the calendar, in addition to the system permissions themselves, you need to set the default setting in the ‘Companion’ settings… add to calendar
It is not enough from the selected event to select ‘add to calendar’.

You have to do it first in:

  • Companion/Settings/Notification/Events
and here set in ‘Event reminder defaults’ the option ‘Add to calendar’ and then save this setting.

This is exactly the same window you see in the settings for an event when you want to add it to the calendar, but it does not work there - you need the global setting I described above.
