Android Watch With Heart Rate Sensor

I own an LG Watch Sport, and android based watch that has a heart rate sensor.  For example I can use this to monitor my heart rate with Strava.  Can I use this with Zwift?

Hi Ben,

Generally no, unless the watch itself transmits its heart-rate via ANT+. Most likely the watch needs to be paired with your phone through Google Health and, thus, we cannot read that data.

Wrist-based heart-rate monitoring is generally less accurate than a chest strap so we would recommend one of those for Zwift (Garmin and Wahoo both make excellent ones but there are plenty available to transmit via ANT+).

Thank you @Eric.  I did see a post from another Zwifter that asked about using Apple watch’s heart rate sensor and the response seemed to indicate this was possible, on that platform
