Any plans for timed robo pacers up Alpe du Zwift?
They could start on the hour every hour. All could set off together doing Road to Sky with the pacers aiming at doing the Apple in 60 min, 55 Min etc.

I am not aware of any plans.
They did a Summit Seeker with Robopacers on Alpe du Zwift back in 23, not sure why they didn’t continue it: RoboPacers on Alpe du Zwift: Summit Seeker Weekends Announced | Zwift Insider
OK but can it be? Seems like an easy upgrade to me. Is there a way to get it on the table for consideration?
Maybe this could just be a private bot you can turn on to follow up the climb, much like holoreplay.
You can configure it for whatever pace / lap time you want.
This would prevent being used for teleports (to get downhill distance) and be available at anytime for everyone. Same thing could be rolled out for any of the big climbs or segments.
I wouldn’t mind a private configurable pace holo-replay.
The UI for setting pace/lap time could be a challenge, though.
If turned on, maybe it would appear when you start the ride (or reach it from the pause menu)
I’d use it quite a bit. I’m pretty good at pacing, but it would be nice to set up one at for example 65 minutes for Ventop and then try to chase it for instance, or whatever for the other segments I am interested in.

its possible as they have done this for GCN a few times for feather to chase a time up the alpe but when asked about this i was told it’s complicated to setup
We don’t use Robopacers in Community events because the setting up of them is extremely time consuming, they can only be in one place at the same time and there is a limit to the number that can be simultaneously run a both a world and overall Zwift level.
so when people start asking for a bot at every power level imaginable, we should just tell them there is a limit and what is currently available covers the vast majority of users, correct?
I think that would be fairly accurate. I don’t know how close we are to the limit currently but when I do some private events with pacers, they don’t always show up for that reason.
