Why does the activity show date instead of event title? This seems to be happening for me and some other other Zwift users after a recent update in June. I know it doesn’t occur for all Zwifters since in group rides other riders’ activities on Zwift Companion or Strava, show the full title as it was listed in the Zwift Event’s Calendar. I prefer the full Event Name to remind myself of the ride group, pace etc. The date is already logged anyway. This appears to happen for Club group events but not Pace Partner rides.
What device are you running Zwift on?
Also does it do the same if you try and save through the companion app?
I am using a Note 20 Samsung Phone/Android for Zwift App and another Samsung/Android for Companion App. I end using stop button in Companion App ( it still asks for club etc on Zwift App). Thanks.

This has been happening intermittently for me too. I’m running 1.42 on Win10 but always save via the companion app (Android). It saves straightaway with just the date as the ride name, but on screen (Win10) the ride is still going with the save spinner spinning away endlessly.
Also happening for me since the June update. I am running zwift on ATV and CA on android phone. I save game with square button on CA (can’t be doing with that ATV remote 
) It saves as Zwift-date for each ride. No title for event/ pace etc

Same issue here. ATV + CA on android. Have saved using phone. Noticed the issue on two workouts earlier this week, and then after 3 different Climb Portals today.

This issue is still not yet fixed. I emailed Zwift support with logs last week as they requested. However, I haven’t had any further responses from them since.

I saved via ATV using the remote following a group ride today and it was fine. So maybe an Android issue.

Same here. ATV and CA on android. Saved activity on phone. Didn’t tried to save on ATV yet.

Saved on ATV today, and that worked. So it is probably an issue with CA/Android, like @Julia_Massey said.

Thank you for flagging this up, everyone. I’ve escalated this to our developers to implement a fix. For now, you should be able to avoid this by saving within Zwift using the pause menu. However, you can also edit your activity titles both as you are saving them and after the fact from your activity feed.
In Zwift Companion, tap the activity from the feed to go into the activity details, then select the edit icon from the top right to change the activity title
On The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App, select your activity from the feed to go into the details, then select the gear icon near the top left to edit your activity title.

Oddly, the bug seems to have returned for me on AppleTV, running the latest tvOS and Zwift, and Companion on Android.
Saving using the remote on ATV seems to result in the correct title.
