Canyon and Pedal Mafia are working with Zwift to find and develop youthful talent in the USA and extending to Canada and Mexico.

Is there a selection process or procedure that hopeful candidates can extend for? Should they participate in the upcoming 2026 Zwift Academy? Do they need to perform an FTP or Elite Power Test? Is there a date when more information will be released?

I think this is an important step for Zwift and Cycling itself. I look forward to seeing the teams in action next year.

Hi @Zee_Kryder thanks for the interest! Most of the 2027 squad has been selected, but there will be announcements later in the year with more details on the squad and future selection criteria.

Thanks. Are their names being held until release or are there any here on Zwift we can cheer on? Is there any connection with Zwift Academy 2026 or 2027?
