I disabled background updates while under 1.103 because of the widespread trainer control issues but it still updated.

I don’t think that’s a bug if you ran the launcher, deferred the update, and it got updated when you closed Zwift. It’s just how it works. To avoid an update you would have to avoid running the launcher by running the game executable directly. What I found on macOS is if I run the launcher, defer the update, and then force-quit the launcher before shutting down Zwift, that will avoid an update. I’m guessing it’s similar on PC.

I never deferred the update. I was 1.103 yesterday. Later in the day launcher still said 1.103 and I disabled auto updates. Sometime overnight it updated and never gave me the option.

Same issue happened with the 1.104.3 update. I left background updates off, I haven’t ridden since my 1.104.0 ride, just checked to turn background updates back on and go to 1.104.3 but it had already updated.
