I think it is ok if I don’t see all the riders on screen but see the chat it will be fine.
This is still a problem. In group rides you dont see all the chat anymore, it is based on who is around you (except for the leader and sweeper).

Yes the chat should be for all riders in the race.

That’s why I think a Zwift style clubhouse or coffee shop would be cool. Your avatar is on a turbo trainer and others join as they finish (only needs to render a few fellow riders on your screen) you can see the results, you can see the podium, stats from the race, chat window is open, etc etc.
