Zwift Academy Race 1 - Strategy & Scheduling

Hey everyone,

I did the Zwift Academy Race 1 yesterday. Looking to give it a couple more tries this week to improve my distance and try out some different strategies. Thinking of hopping back in Thursday (tomorrow) or Friday night after work and also on Saturday or Sunday morning.

Anyone have any advice on which of those times might be better for this particular race? Also, any suggestions for how to train between now and then to maximize my performance? Any input is appreciated!

Today, and Thursday or Friday, and Saturday or Sunday would be too much intensity for me to get a good result. Since you raced today I’d do nothing or recovery ride tomorrow. Whether to race again on Friday depends on what else you’ve been doing, how fatigued you are, and how well you recover. When I do a race I want to show up with good legs otherwise I’ll do a social ride.
