ZRacing Monthly Series [2024]

:man_facepalming:
Right, I forgot about that. That was the only timeslot I could do that day. Shoot…

Did the Loop de Loop navigation bug get fixed?
Didn’t happen to me but it seemed like some people in the race got put onto the wrong course at some point, went missing from the riders nearby list for a while then came back a while later, more than a few minutes.
A few showing on ZRapp as having left the race early but covering more than 100% race distance.

Sounds like this might be due to some people not running 1.74 yet, such as if they have automatic app updates disabled. Would be interesting to hear if anyone running 1.74 got misrouted.

Hi folks,

Zwift game version 1.74.0 was released to all platforms last week and includes a fix for a potential navigation issue that can occur in the Loop de Loop route. We have seen some reports from customers that experienced issues when running older versions of Zwift, which can happen if automatic updates are disabled on mobile platforms.

If you have not yet updated to Zwift game version 1.74.0 or newer, please do so before participating in Stage 4 of the ZRacing Monthly Series: Pinarello Powered which is held on the Loop de Loop route.

We also pushed out a change on the server-side tonight which will give Zwifters a soft notification prompt to update the game the next time they open it.

If anyone continues to experience route navigation issues after updating to game version 1.74.0 or newer, please let us know.

Hi, I raced last night on this course, 1km from the end, everyone went right and my avatar went left by myself. Vey annoying, I was in a comfortable 12th place out of about 90. I’m on Apple tv so have the latest version.

Hi @John_Ranby_ARCC, very sorry about that issue. I just looked at the logs and it looks like you’re using one version prior (1.73.2 instead of 1.74.0+).

If you already have automatic updates enabled on your Apple TV, it may be that the App Store update process didn’t run for some reason, so you can open up the App Store on your device to start the update manually.

We also made a change last night that will automatically show a notification to update to the latest game version when opening Zwift.

Once updated, you can confirm your game version either on the login screen (it’s shown in the bottom right corner of the screen), or by going into Zwift Settings and selecting the “About” tab. If you’re running version 1.74.0 or newer, the issue will be resolved.

Why is the December ZRacing Monthly starting unusually in the final week of November, especially when adjustments to Racing Score seed scores are expected any time?

I can’t remember the last time this series began before the first Monday of the month in question.
