Hi, I’m fairly new to Zwift and this evening I entered into ZHQ FutureWorks Crit City Race - Anti-sandbagging (C). I entered the C category (2,5-3,1w/kg). After completing the race I was really happy with my performance and I reached a new record for me with an average W/kg of 3,1. As this is in the high end of category C I was surprised that I still got beaten by 50% of the participants in the race. Is this how it should be? Am I in the wrong category?
Yep - normal. Excuse can be:
Sandbaggers
People that just dont give a toss and enter wrong cat
If race under 20mins a good Cat C rider can push higher than Cat limits (this is OK)
Kids kick adults butts on Zwift
Weight dopers
