Not a Mac Mini M2, but tried a new Macbook Air 15" M2, 1TB SSD and 16GB ram - it runs fine but only through the screen on the laptop - I haven’t connected it to my 4K 55" TV screen as I don’t have a HDMI conversion adaptor for the Macbook Air yet.
The MBA is not for Zwift though - so it will get very rarely used for that purpose. I have a Mac desktop permanently in use for that.
Hi Peter, i ordered and installed the Mac Mini M2 8/256gb and it works perfect. It is the first contact with MacOS, but no rocket science
Thanks for your support!
I have a Mac mini Pro M2 with some extra RAM, memory and GPU power. It automatically defaults to the 4K setting and works really well for Zwift. Way better than Apple TV4k. I use an HDMI cable from my computer to my smart tv and it works well. My heart rate monitor and Tacx Neo smart trainer both work with bluetooth without any issues or need for anything extra.
Yes. I currently have 2 monitors connected. One via hdmi port and one via usb-c to hdmi. I’ve also got a portable monitor that works usb-c to usb-c. I have the Mac mini m2.
I was looking into this option; runnig Zwift on a MacMini (m2) in my office (floor level 2)
And have it shown on my TV on floor level 0. Internet gives these options:
Airplay (Build in AppleTV or Apple TV).
Remote Desktop or Streaming via Software
But can my iPhone act as a bluetooth bridge for the KickrBike?
I see very little difference between High on my M1 Mac and Ultra on my PC. I see a huge difference between Basic and High. But that’s my highly subjective view and I’m not a gamer. I don’t run it in 4K (PC is not connected to a 4K display, and the 4K display I use with my mac is only 27").
price and size drop while better specs? should release soon(ish)
