Will be away in Chiba, Tokyo during TDZ Stage 6, where to ride?

Unfortunately I cannot ride on the make up days either.

I’ve found the CITTEC Cafe-Galibier (https://twitter.com/cittecgalibier), but it might be closed.

Any pointers?

It would be nice to have a few make up days sprinkled on the off days.
You could also have stage 5 or 6 scattered earlier in the month just for your situation.

Thanks Tim- I think TDZ only has two makeup days announced, 2nd and 3rd Feb.

Unfortunately these don’t work for me… but your suggestion would be beneficial!

You might want to rethink that trip to China, my wife’s company is suspending all travel to China for now. I’m assuming you are a US citizen. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/china-travel-advisory.html

Happy to report back that I didn’t miss Stage 6, and had an excellent ride in a little hidden gem in Tokyo!

The indoor cycling gym, was formerly named CITTEC, is now called CycleGym.

Welcomed by the chief mechanic.

Just turned up with my cycling gear, water, and food, and the gym provided everything else.

Several bike sizes are available, I went for the same 52 I usually ride on, with minor saddle height adjustments, and was Zwifting in no time.

Choice of Tacx Neo and Kickr.

Missed the football the night before, so they set-up a small table for my laptop, while Zwift was projected.

After suffering (happily) for 2 hours, popped upstairs to the changing and shower rooms.

Towels and toiletries also provided.

To refuel, pop back downstairs to the cafe and enjoy food prepared by Australian chef and manager Bradley.

Unwind with coffee + pro cycling news!

All in all, what an experience to ride while travelling to Tokyo, and strongly encourage others to visit this little gem on their next visit.

Love it, that is a superb setup! :ok_hand::grinning:

That is amazing. Is there anything like that in the United States? Would it be sustainable?

there used to be a list of ‘Zwift Experience Centres’ on: https://zwift.com/zed, which is how I found Cyclegym (formerly CITTEC)

i think they recently revamped it to show ‘Zwift dealers’ with a map, I guess more for the affiliated bike trailers rather than the Zwift membership, which you can get online easily anyways.

Perhaps can run a search of your city there?

Oh my god, thank you for letting us know.
This is 5 stations away from my in-laws house, will definitely visit when I’m there next month.
