Is there any way to check whether a race will affect your racing score or not (before the race, that is)?
“Event organizers can request their event not be ‘scored’ if, for example, the event isn’t a scratch race.”
I suppose if I just select Scratch races or Time trials from ZwiftRacing.app (Event Schedule) they should be all counted towards the racing score…
I don’t believe there is a searchable tag.
I imagine there are still loads of points races counting towards ZRS, as the request for positive ID of races that shouldn’t count to race organizers was not a direct ask, but just a line in a post about ZRS being widely rolled out.
I think they should add something to make it clear here if the race won’t affect the race score! Otherwise we need to ask organizers go and do recon work and see the race results of the same race in previous times. Too much hassle…This is what happened to me to figure it out for tiny races by INOX for example. The organizers did not respond onn Discord
I think it is pretty simple… if the race pens are split by race score ranges, then it is a ZRS race, if not and they just list A, B, C, D then it will not count for race score. However, if you set a new 5 minute power PR anywhere, that can increase your seed score and impact ZRS.
That might be the most common scenario but it certainly isn’t a rule.
Friday Night Fun races use race score ranges but don’t count for any changes. It’s mentioned in the description but not searchable.
ZRL last year counted for changes but they weren’t shown on the in-game results. You can check with the zwiftpower ZRS extension. I’m sure there are more examples.
The other problem is that at least on Companion app on iPhone sometimes the description isn’t completely shown and is partially cut off!
