Before v1.116, if using wheels with colour on (such as lava princeton 6560 or DT swiss discs) with a frame that has a colour slider, both the frame colour and the wheel colour would match the colour selected. This meant the frame and wheels matched colours well.
Now since v1.116, this is broken and the wheels always stay red no matter the colour selected with the slider.
Possibly related to this change which updated how the colour slider works:
Fixed an issue where selecting an item in the garage could reset the equipped bike paint color to default.
This is also still happening in v1.117. Please could this be fixed so colour slider frames are also able to update the colour of wheels
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. You have sharp eyes to notice this change. The previous behavior of the wheels (usually wheel logos) shifting colors was actually not intended, and this new behavior fixed it.
An exception to this are the wheels for the Concept Z1 bike - those are supposed to match the rest of the frame.
Even if not intended behavior, it was better from the users’ perspective. Guessing there might be some contractural art direction issues, but anything user-configurable is nice to have.
This is such a disappointing choice, we already don’t have any control over bike customization for most bikes, now we have even less for the ones we can customize?
