Zwift is already political, as mentioned above. You don’t have to engage but why speak out against people expressing support on the platform? I find that quite odd.
While I eco the sentiment that it would be nice to have Zwift without politics, I find it highly disingenuous to state that Zwift is just that.
Every other Zwift newsletter is about celebrating a group. This groups day or this groups month. Which is fine. But don’t act like that is not the case.
So precedent was set, and I see no reason why a Jersey or an official statement regarding a Jersey should be out of line.
One could conclude Zwift is political when it is convenient to be political. Or Zwift indeed doesn’t care about politics and is just a prudent business following the zeitgeist.
That being said, it’s just a statement about whether Zwift is political or not, I did not read the mentioned threads.
And my god, how I had to mute the chat in the run up to the last US elections. Never switched it back on. So much for the wish to just cycling/running, that ship has sailed a long time ago.

i witnessed a guy riding under a russian flag get insulted by someone in the kiss 100 last sunday and there were requests on this forum not even 1 week ago to ban russian people from using zwift for committing the crime of being russian

This is off topic, its irrelevant to the original request and it seems like you’re trying to deflect..
Plenty of other places to show your support for whatever the cause. Zwift is not the place for more political statements. We’re preached to these days everywhere you go. Would be nice just to ride the bike in a place where you can escape everyone’s special cause. Way too many allowed now.
