What does the confetti mean?

Every so often, a burst of confetti rains down on the course. What triggers it?
(I tried a search and looked for an answer on Google.)

It’s when a rider finishes a workout or sets a new personal best on a sprint/lap. I think reaching weekly time goals triggers it as well.

You can check “Riders nearby” table to get more info - there you can see

1. who exactly is the rider celebrated by confetti (small “confetti show” just around his name)
2. what is the reason - goal, workout finished, PR, etc …
