What do I need to run Zwift with Wahoo Kickr

Hi,

I have been accepted into the beta program and trying to get set up.

I have spent some time reading the support section and forums and am still not clear on what I need to ride with my Wahoo Kickr. ie What I need to get it set up.

I know it is supported.

Can I run Zwift with my Wahoo app on my phone? Or do I need to get a USB dongle for my computer?

If I need a USB donagle, which exact one do I need? I have a MacBooKPro.

Just want to make sure I get the right stuff if I need anything.
Looking forward to riding.

You need ANT+ dongle for your kickr to communicate with your computer. USB extension cord is recommended so that you can place your ANT+ dongle as close to your Kickr as possible to minimize loss of signal.

Thanks for the information. Do you have a recommendation on brand? I looked on Amazon and do not see a generic one. Will the Garmin one on Amazon work?

I’m using this one: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?mpart=ANTUSB-M&vendor=1094 and it works well for me.

I had a Suunto movestick mini before, but had quite a few dropouts, so would not recommend that one.

Anyone in the Toronto Ontario / GTA area looking for an ANT+ Stick that works great with Mac / Windows / Android (with OTG cable), I have provided the link below.  The price is far cheaper then the big name brands, and it works just as well if not better…for half the price.
