So finally I’ve got myself a triathlon coach, and now I’m using more of the swift workouts. My last session was BAFFLING BEAU.
Warmup was fine , first set was 40sec @ 360 watts then 20sec @ 190 x 10. All good. Easy 5min then second set. 30sec @390 watts then 30sec 190watts. I only managed 3 attempts, my pedals were getting harder and harder until I coukdnt turn any more. Why is this? I can easily turn a lot more than this. Thanks
That sounds like ERG mode spiral of death, which is usually caused by dropping your cadence, so the trainer compensates by increasing resistance. There is an explanation here:

If you maintain steady cadence it should not happen. If the trainer detects that you lowered your cadence, it has no choice but to increase resistance until you reach the power target. Of course you could also choose to do the workout without ERG mode and that would not happen.
