Yeah, I know. I used on demand for the TdZ or ToW, whichever one it was, and it was definitely more convenient. Not the same as doing it with other people though. =)
On demand and tweak your power so you can do 21w/kg - easy done.
Just done 2 laps of Big Spin route, first as the event 2nd carried on and got no spin on the second time through.
Should i raise this as a bug or anyone going to read this as i know if works for others?
Hey, I’ve just finished my first ride of the big spin to win but when I finished the ride and I stayed a little after the finish the choose to “spin the wheel” never came up. Is this a bug writhing the system ? Thanks
Was it an on-demand ride or an official scheduled event?
must be a bug seen a few posts about no prize or even seeing the wheel
I figured that wouldn’t work as you technically are leaving the event when you cross the finish line on the first lap. Would be nice if Zwift is able to change this so doing multiple laps after an event gives multiple spins just like the on demand version.
Three spins in the last two days…out of six possible prizes (the four global and two ride-specific), I’ve gotten the same bucket hat three times in a row.
I would be 100% behind eliminating the “late join” option if it meant that you were guaranteed a new result from the wheel on each subsequent spin following completion of the full course.

I’ve seen two people do 4 laps first in event and 3 after all get a spin but no luck for me.

I’ve had 4 spins for 4 wheels
I think there’s a bug. I did two events yesterday 2:30 and 3:30 EST.
Got the spinner at the end of the first ride. But not the second. Did the whole event in both cases – no late join, didn’t even use a coffee break. And all I got was this lousy jersey! 
I got the spin but it came up late, almost a minute after crossing the finish line.
I wonder if you stop peddling at the finish, if the spinner is not showing up?

Kinda cool that the wheels change color with your bike tho. Nice touch.
I completed the Big Spin ride at 7:30 & 8:30 EST & did not get a spin wheel at the end of either ride.

Did the same, I got second spin yesterday. Win 10 PC.
I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday (after I did 3 full group rides for 2 bucket hats and 1 helmet), except keep the late join. But if you late join, you are not guaranteed to win an item you haven’t already won. Riders can choose to ride the entire route for a new prize each time, or choose the late join shortcut for a “lesser quality” spin.

Two proper full loops of that course today, both times got the headphones I already had yesterday.
So that collapses that theory.
Or don’t show the spinner unless you do at least 80% distance. Your idea is better.
If we can find out if the wheels are slow then we know if it’s worth doing the event still or forget it.
