After pairing speed and cadence sensors correctly and riding successfully for about a mile the gameplay speed dropped down to 1mph eventhough pair screen still showed 19mph. I’ve read that actual wheel speed and gameplay speed do not match but this seems wrong.
Speed within Zwift for virtual power/zpower is calculated by taking your rear wheel speed and the know power curve of your trainer and then it’s converted to watts. With those watts, in game bike use, in game drafting, weight entered and the virtual elevation changes within Zwift your in game speed is determined.
Zwift ingame speed is fairly accurate. Your rear wheel speed and your ingame speed will hardly ever match.
There lots of resistance which resist you and not this is not accurate all the time. printer offline fix helped me to solve this.
What does a printer issue have to do with Zwift ingame speed?
This is so true. My rear wheel speed out of the Zwift in-game is 16kms. But when I enter the game with my back wheel sensor and on non-supported rollers. The game has me at 5kms. Looks like I’m going to have to work my butt off. LOL
