Saddle pain On Workouts?

Riding out I would typicaly pick myself out of the saddle on climbs and move around. With indoor cycling I do that a lot less. My wheel on trainer was ok for mimicing that, but now I have zwift. I am training for a triathlon in a few months so I have a triathlon saddle, aero bars and Zwift gives me ERG mode. That means that I can be in riding to arround 90rpm with the trainer keeping the power constant for 90min at a time, and my back side planted.

Do you folks suffer from saddle pain on rides like this? what do you do to get around the pain. numbness.?

I just remind myself to get out of the saddle occasionally for a butt break. It takes a few rides, but you’ll soon be in the habit.

It’s a big problem for me. So I have a limit around 60 minutes. What I have to do is get off the kickr bike for a few minutes, walk around and then I am okay for another hour.

Other things I did was to mimic the fit changes I have on my real bike and also reduce any excessive pressure points. It all helps - but I still have to stop for a short while.
