My total activity hours toward my weekly goal appear to be included in the total even with ‘include run’ turned off. And it would be nice to see the hours for each type of activity separated.

Similar here on Android. On Monday this week I hiked with my Garmin. The hike is included in my Fitness Trends display. It contributes to my fitness score and to my tracked metric of Calories.
