Is there any reason the distances on RoboPacer rides are not as long as advertised? Today I tried the Lutece Express, listed as 9.8km when in fact it’s only 6.6km. The other day I did one & the lap ended 1.7km short of the distance. I’ve just started doing them so I don’t know if it’s the norm, and yes I know about lead ins but the RoboPacer routes never have them on.
I would imagine the advertised distance includes the lead-in.

I thought that, except there are no lead in distances given on the route plan. So unless you know them by heart it’s just guesswork.
The Lutece Express route has a substantial lead-in.
Are you talking about the distances shown on the mini-map in the upper right? I’ve noticed this recently while riding with Robopacers, as well - specifically on Volcano Circuit and Sugar Cookie. The distance shown to the end/start of the route is longer than reality, and the countdown doesn’t get to zero before the route lap restarts.
Lead-in wouldn’t be a factor since these were routes I’d teleported to by joining a Robopacer. Volcano Circuit was super obvious since it’s a short route so I saw it happen multiple times.
Exactly that, it seems to be a normal feature for some reason.
I couldn’t remember if this had already been reported as a known issue, and I was feeling too lazy to search so I kind of forgot about it until I saw your post. I did take some screenshots which clearly show the issue, so if anyone from Zwift support wants to see them I’ll post them. This was before the most recent game update, though.
So why not factor that in? It doesn’t show lead ins on RoboPacer rides, just gives you a distance, speed & w/kg of the pacer.
So why have a lead in at all?
Preaching to the choir there my friend. They’ve always seemed pointless to me. Maybe someone will be along to tell us the benefits.
